what I hope is that holiday celebration does not falls exactly on the actual real life holiday, like winterdays does not falls on christmas holiday and etc.

Because I am always away during these celebration seasons, why? because it is holiday in real life, and players go away on holiday! tyvm

I don't know that it even matters that more PvE is played than PvP. The weekends are always going to have more load even without events, so it would seemingly make sense to have them at lower load times anyway.

But then, I don't exactly have the ability to evaluate ANET's network load over various periods of time, so I may be completely wrong.

If no one can grasp the fact that there is the ability to use a freaken calendar or do some simple planning then I dunno what else to say. Anet can easily isolate multiple freaken events from occurring during the same time period. MATs only occur once a month yet numerous times we've had these shit lag fests, guess it's way beyond their management to take a look at a calendar.
